The scene is what you make it.  We want ours to be inclusive, accessible, fun, and full of cutting-edge and aggressive content on Canadian DIY music.  You can support your local scene by writing for Sound Pollution, giving artists like yourself a voice in an online community that knows no borders.

How to Submit to Sound Pollution

The editorial team is always looking for new writers, photographers, media and publicity groups, and artists to work with.  Whether you are interested in our online content, our monthly events, or our radio format (or all three!) it’s easy to submit

1) Read and familiarize yourself with the Sound Pollution mandate (in the About Us section of this website, or in our press kit) to help figure out if your submission and artist will be appropriate
2) Email the editorial team with your interest or content proposal
3) If necessary, ask for our Writer Style Guide and Press Kit documentation

The editorial team responds to all emails in the appropriate turn around time.  Due to the amount of requests received, our response may take up to a month.  We ask people to be aware of this and we thank everyone in advance for their patience.
