For the ones that haven’t tuned in yet, we’re now podcasting our Indie Love Radio show, The Sound Pollution Roundtable, online here every week. This podcast: B’MO Crazy vs School Jerks. Toronto punk band School Jerks somehow got lost on their way to the station, but we’ve already scheduled for them to come back next month.

About B’MO Crazy:
B’MO Crazy (as in Be More crazy, get it?) definitely live up to their name. This hilarious Toronto hip-hop duo have fashioned a niche sound that is simultaneously loud and irreverent, sarcastic and always tongue-in-cheek.
The band is Kayle Donner and Owen Norquay. College roommates and both classically trained musicians who set aside their instruments for a lyrical romp accompanied by nothing but a drum machine, crazy costumes, and blazing dance moves. B’MO Crazy’s lyrics swing frantically between social commentary and the completely inane, with dry wit and electric beats as the only constants. Their track “Broista” captures the frustration many university graduates have with the realization that their degree doesn’t necessarily equate to their dream job. On the other side of the coin, the track “Hard As Fuck” is a deep and thoughtful spin on… wait, what the hell WAS that song about?
Look for them playing gigs where ever they can, and ask them about the suitcase full of copies of their debut album, Viva La Shit-Son Revolucion!
